THE HAN 4L PROJECT
WHO ARE WE?
We are HAN4L, a student team consisting out of international students from the HAN Automotive, Engineering and ISB (International School of Business) faculties. With the goal to particpate in the 4L Trophy rally, the biggest humanitarian rally in Europe. Along with 1500 student crews, we will embark in upgraded and modified Renault 4’s on a 8000 km journey from the Netherlands to France, trough Spain, over the strait of Gibraltar and towards Marrakesh. To then go trough the Sahara desert towards a humanitarian camp where all the teams donate school, sports, medical and computer supplies for remote communities in the Moroccan desert.
Our goal is not to win, but to experience this adventure to the maximum while helping others in need. To become an organisation that does more than only drive old cars. Join us on this adventure, and share this unique story!
Through hands on learning and teamwork we make our car desert fit to take it on this massive and ambitious journey to carry the necessary material donations to achieve the main goal: providing supplies to help Moroccan communities in need.
Creating the best possible modified version of our Renault 4’s
Acquiring knowledge and experience (theoretical and practical)
Uniting a team/community of motivated students towards one goal
Delivering material donations as well as financial donations
Creating awareness for the 4L trophy Rally
The way we work and develop, relies on the pillars of solidarity, teamwork, pursuing knowledge, commitment, social and environmental responsibility, and creating an environment where everybody can develop their skills and, at the same time have fun.
